Dancehall giant Vybz Kartel records another major collaboration, teaming up with American rappers Busta Rhymes and Akon for the new trio collab, Crazy, which dropped on Friday, Feb 21.
The Worl' Boss shares a close bond with Busta Rhymes, who performed at the historic Freedom Street on New Year's Eve. In a recent interview with the renowned Drink Champs, Kartel spoke about his friendship with Busta, calling him "a real one." They recently shared footage from the studio while Kartel was in Los Angeles for the 67th Grammy ceremony.
Kartel and Busta have previously collaborated on two tracks, The Don & The Boss and Girlfriend. He also featured on Akon's 2004 Locked Up remix and the 2009 Gun Session collab alongside Sizzla and Shabba Ranks.
Now back in full force in the international music industry, Kartel hints at upcoming collaborations with Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Drake in the near future.
