Despite the disappointment of being denied bail pending the decision on his retrial hearing set for June 10th, dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is thriving with his new project, 'Party With Me,' officially released on Friday, May 31st.
The 8-track album has soared to number 2 in the Top 100 reggae albums on iTunes, second only to Bob Marley's timeless "Legend" album.
The album features tracks like "Dollar Dollar," (Which soars on Best New Releases on Apple Music charts) "Wet," "Tell Me What You Want," "AR15," "Hot Spot," and the title track "Party With Me." Additionally, it includes two songs from the mid-2010s, "Ignite The World" and "Pale Blue Dot (Rihanna Wine)."
The World Boss has collaborated with Jamaican producers, including Din Din of Hemton Music, TJ Records, Redboom Supamix, Prod Panda, and ZJ Chrome. The entire project is released under Kartel's own label, Adidjaheim Records.
