Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel’s Viking Deluxe Edition debuts at #10 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, securing his 11th chart entry

Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel has earned his 11th entry on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with the Viking (Vybz is King) 10th-anniversary deluxe edition, debuting at #10 on the chart.
The 11-track project blends some of its iconic originals with seven new songs, marking Kartel’s first recordings since his release from prison in July 2024. The new tracks include "God is the Greatest," "Pork Flick" featuring Ishawna, "Dreams Are Made Of," and "Polite," alongside two previously released tracks, "Str8 Vybz" and "AmOut."
The updated album also features hits such as "Unstoppable," "Enchanting," "Gon Get Better," and "Dancehall", now retitled "Dancehall Cyah Stall."
Kartel's highest Billboard placement came in 2016, when "King of the Dancehall" peaked at #2. His other notable entries include "To Tanesha" (#3, 2020), Of "Dons & Divas" (#6, July 2020), "Born Fi Dis" (Prelude) (#9, August 2021), and his Grammy-nominated "irst Week Out", which debuted at #8 in August 2024. Several other projects, including "Kingston Story" and the original "Viking (Vybz is King)", have also made their mark on the prestigious chart.
