Dancehall megastar Vybz Kartel expands his new Str8 Vybz Rum Collection with its first official launch in Trinidad, the artist shared on his social media

After the successful launch of the highly anticipated Str8 Vybz Rum on November 6 in Kingston, dancehall megastar Vybz Kartel took the campaign to Trinidad to continue rolling out the collection and expanding his business across the Caribbean.
The Str8 Vybz collection is now available through select retailers and online platforms in key markets, including Jamaica, as well as in locations across the Caribbean, such as Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, The Bahamas, Guyana, St. Lucia, and Grenada.
The brand is produced and bottled by The House of Angostura Distillers in Trinidad and Tobago and is distributed exclusively by Caribbean Producers Jamaica Ltd (CPJ).
The collection features four signature rums, with each bottle is named after one of Kartel’s chart-topping hits: Fever (Overproof Rum), Ramping Shop (Enhanced Rum), Unstoppable (Dark Rum), and Electric (White Rum).

A recently shared video from the organizers of the One Caribbean Music Festival shows Vybz Kartel appearing to sign a contract to perform in Trinidad for Carnival Friday 2025. The clip has sparked a debate across social media, with some artists expressing concerns that the focus might shift from soca to dancehall during the event.
