Dancehall Worl' Boss Vybz Kartel is set to perform in the U.S. on April 11 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, marking his first U.S. show in over 20 years as the headliner of the Reggae Fest Tour.

Promoters, including CJ Milan, announced the show on Friday, with tickets set to go on sale Thursday, March 6, at 10 a.m. Renowned MC Nuffy, who hosted the historic Freedom Street concert, also shared the news.

The Worl’ Boss reinstated his visa in January, recently returned to U.S. soil, attended the 67th Grammy Awards, and is now preparing for his first official performance since regaining his freedom.

This year is shaping up to be monumental for the 49-year-old deejay, who regained his freedom last year after 13 years behind bars. There is enormous demand for shows across the Caribbean and beyond, with Kartel set to headline Summerjam in Germany this July. Additionally, he will be a special guest at Drake’s three-day headlining event and the Wireless Festival, which is already sold out.
