Dancehall giant Vybz Kartel collected his U.S. visa from the embassy on Friday and immediately boarded a flight to Florida, en route to California. He is set to attend the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday evening at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

After reportedly being granted a U.S. visa last week, Vybz Kartel is now back on U.S. soil for the first time in over two decades. The Worl' Boss, accompanied by his fiancée Sidem Öztürk, shared footage of their arrival in Florida.

The Comet deejay plans to attend the 67th Grammy Awards, where he is nominated for his "Party With Me" EP. Kartel had previously hinted at receiving his visa soon through tweets and Instagram stories.

The dancehall icon postponed his scheduled media launch in Barbados and several other Caribbean countries due to his U.S. travel plans. Fans can now expect major performances across the U.S. later this year.

His visa approval comes just in time for the release of his first project since his prison release, "Viking (Vybz Is King) 10th Anniversary Deluxe", which dropped on Friday, January 31, and debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Top Reggae Albums chart.
