Following the success of his sophomore album, "Generation of Kings," his debut project under Def Jam Recordings, Dancehall star Masicka releases his first solo single for 2024, titled "20 Matic," on Friday, June 21.
Masicka continues to showcase his lyrical prowess with brilliant rhymes, a catchy flow, and his distinctive signature punchlines. "Bigger ball game watch e entry, Wembley," he raps over a beat produced by acclaimed producer Dunw3ll Productions. The single's release is accompanied by a music video shot by Shane Creative.
After collaborating with Shenseea on the smash hit single "Hit & Run" (which has amassed 57 million views so far) and with Romain Virgo on "Been There Before," the "1Syde" deejay is now hinting at a new studio album.
Currently, Masicka is preparing for two shows in the UK: one in Bristol, where he will perform alongside fellow dancehall artist Malie Donn, and another at London's Indigo at the O2 Arena.
