Mojo Morgan, invited Popcaan to show support for his nephew
Mojo Morgan from Morgan Heritage and Popcaan showed their support for the local Portland football club, Ujama, as they triumphed in their semi-final match against Wifi Utd, advancing to the U20 finals.
Mojo's nephew, Davian Ross, played a crucial role in the victory, scoring the decisive penalty that secured the team's spot in the finals for the second consecutive year.
Popcaan, who shares a close bond with the legendary reggae band Morgan Heritage, also hails from Saint Thomas. He featured on Morgan Heritage’s "The Homeland" album, released last year, on the track "Diamond Love" featuring Mr. Killa.
Meanwhile, Gramps Morgan another member of the Royal Family of Morgan Heritage will be performing in Brooklyn, New York, on June 29th, 2024. This marks his first solo performance in Brooklyn, the city of his birth. “This show in Brooklyn really means a lot to me. It’s the city of my birth and where the Morgan Heritage family spent a lot of time working in our recording studio in Bushwick. I’ve never performed a solo act in Brooklyn before, so I saw it as a great event to help me reconnect,” Gramps said. "It’s gonna be a night of celebrating with family and friends.”
