Recording artiste Wesrok has entered the Billboard Country Digital Sales chart with the song 'True Love', a collaboration with American reggae band Big Mountain. The song debuted last week at #86.

Wesrok is quite upbeat about the song’s debut. “I am excited about the latest turn of events in my career. How this song came about, it was a friend who introduced me to the band’s lead singer Joaquin McWhinney and he asked me to send a song to him which was an original song. He was elated about the song, and we agreed we’d collaborate on it. We also worked with a producer in Mexico to produce the song,” Wesrok explained.

'True Love', according to Wesrok, sends a strong message about love. With the attention that the song has received, a music video is now in the pipeline.

“We are now scheduling a date to do the video in Mexico around October 30. From all expectations, there is a lot of optimism about this video and I am anticipating that it will do well,” Wesrok disclosed.

This Sunday October 27, Wesrok makes his debut in Fort Myers, Florida at the Suga Reggae Fest and Jerk Competition which takes place at the Centennial Park in Fort Myers.

Also sharing the stage at the event are the legendary Mykal Rose, Digicel Rising Stars winner Shuga, AJ Brown, Round Head and Mr. Easy among others.

The event is being held under the distinguished patronage of Consul General Oliver Mair and The Mayor of Fort Myers, Kevin Anderson.

Wesrok is currently working on his next EP which he says will be a full country and western project. “The fans will see another side of Wesrok,” he assured.
