Marie-Ange Pollonais, an international artist and muralist from Trinidad and Tobago, is set to headline the third edition of the Worlds Collide Art Show in Kingston on Thursday, August 29.
Pollonais will be joined by self-taught Jamaican artist Gabrielle Murdock and handcraft specialist Sara-Dee Palmer. The show will feature live painting sessions and personalized commissions as part of its offerings.
Project Manager and Creative Entrepreneur Stefan Amali stated, “Kingston is the destination for Art. We aim to broaden the city's scope with this luxurious event that showcases the talents of artists from across the Caribbean region.”

Amali added, “Art & Luxury are inseparable, and it's always a mesmerizing experience to witness these worlds collide.”
The event will be hosted in the elegantly simple Hyundai Showroom and will highlight the best of food, fashion, music, and, of course, Art from the region.
A private showing will take place the evening before (August 28), with the main event scheduled for Thursday, August 29, at 7:00 pm. Cran Wata is the official sponsor of the event.
Amali is brimming with excitement, expressing, “Creativity is the charming gardener that causes the souls of every Jamaican to blossom. It is embedded in the core of the Jamaican experience and serves as a tool to navigate the socioeconomic and sociocultural challenges we face as a nation.”
The Worlds Collide Art Show aims to inspire a new generation of Jamaicans, not only by showcasing the beauty of modern art but by demonstrating a different trajectory for achieving upward social mobility.
