The second Birthday Celebration in memory of Jo Mersa Marley, forming a part of the yearly tribute series. Set for Saturday, March 9, 2024, the artists will take the stage to honor and rejoice in Jo Mersa Marley's enduring legacy and music.
The event will unfold at Reggaeland in Nine Mile, St. Ann, featuring a lineup of Marley brothers including Stephen, Kymani, Julian, and Damian, alongside veteran deejay Sparga Benz, Lutan Fyah, and Black Am I.
The event showcases performances by the third Generation Musical Marleys, featuring the rising sensation YG Marley with his global hit single 'Praise Jah In The Moonlight', as well as Yohan Marley, Hymn, Mystic (Stephen's daughter), and the emerging artist King Cruff.
Adding to the excitement, 2023 Grammy Award winner Pyramid Kabaka, who is signed to Ghetto Youths International, Bugle, Jesse Royal, Jahshii, and Jahmiel, are also set to perform. Notably, the lineup includes Christopher Ellis, Jah Izrehl, and Jemere Morgan.
Attendees can anticipate juggling sessions by DJ Rassarella, Rory Stone Love, and Bass Odyssey, while Ron Muschette will guide them through the sets.
Supported by Wisynco, leading brands including Bigga, Wata, and TruJuice will elevate the star-studded concert. Additionally, Jeeter, partnering with Ghetto Youths International, Tuff Gong International, Marley Natural, and Irie FM, will serve as sponsors for the event.
Tickets are available for presale at $3,500 and $5,000 at the gate. Gates will open at 7 pm, with the show set to kick off at 9 pm.
